Slow Cadillac is a series of very slowly evolving chords, with inner movement and undulations improvised by the players with the goal to create a rich texture that sets the stage for two soloists, first the vibes then the flute. To keep the environment slow moving and without the influence of the rhythmic tracks, all the players recorded to a simple synthesizer guide track, not knowing the elements of groove that would appear in the work.
